Insurance & Payment Information

In order to provide longer, more flexible appointments that focus entirely on each patient's unique needs, I am an "out of network provider". This means that I do not contract with insurance companies and cannot submit claims on your behalf. Upon request, I am happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance, as many plans include generous out of network benefits that provide partial reimbursement. We accept cash, check, all major credit cards, and FSA/HSA cards as forms of payment.

Good Faith Estimates

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Therefore, keep records of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov.nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Telehealth Requirements

For telehealth appointments, please note the following important requirements:

  • You must physically be within the state of Tennessee during all telehealth sessions, as required by state licensing laws
  • You need a private, quiet space where confidentiality can be maintained
  • A reliable internet connection is required for video sessions
  • A backup phone number should be provided in case of technical difficulties
  • All telehealth sessions are conducted through HIPAA-compliant platforms

Privacy & Confidentiality

Your privacy is of utmost importance. All services comply with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of psychiatric practice. A detailed Notice of Privacy Practices will be provided prior to your first appointment for review.
